I have held on to my California driver's license for a long time mostly because I hoped it could be used as proof that I was not a part of the Boston driving public whose flagrant disregard for traffic signs and rules has left a very horrid Massachusetts taste in my mouth.But, alas, motivated by good old fashioned boredom (puppy watching isn't so fun when the puppy is sleeping) and the fact that my CA version expires in a couple months, I officially turned in my beautiful, sunshine state license and now await a shiny, new MA version.
It is the end of an era.
